Kingdom Doula Training & Certification
A formation pathway for spiritually mature believers called to steward new life in Christ with humility, wisdom, and restraint.
"I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you." — Galatians 4:19
A Sober Calling
Caring for new believers is holy and weighty work. The early days of faith are marked by vulnerability, wonder, confusion, and often spiritual opposition. Those who come alongside a new son or daughter in Christ carry a serious responsibility—not to shape them in their own image, but to help Christ be formed in them.
Scripture calls for maturity in those who shepherd, not merely enthusiasm. This role is not about spiritual authority, special gifting, or personal fulfillment. It is service—quiet, steady, and accountable. The Kingdom Doula walks beside, not above. They plant and water, knowing that only God gives the growth.
"He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil." — 1 Timothy 3:6
What a Kingdom Doula Is — And Is Not
A Kingdom Doula Is
- A servant-steward of new life in Christ
- A prayerful, steady presence
- Grounded in Scripture and community
- Submitted to oversight and accountability
A Kingdom Doula Is Not
- A pastor, therapist, or prophet
- A deliverance minister
- A spiritual authority figure
- A replacement for the local church
Training Overview
Kingdom Doula training is designed to form the heart, not simply inform the mind. It is a process of discernment as much as education.
Scripture-based
Rooted in biblical truth and the teachings of Jesus Christ
Formation-focused
Shaping character and heart posture, not just knowledge
Discernment-oriented
Learning to follow the Holy Spirit's leading with wisdom
Trauma-aware
Understanding vulnerability without claiming clinical expertise
Boundary-centered
Clear limits that protect both caregiver and recipient
Important: Completion of training does not guarantee certification. Certification is prayerfully discerned by leadership and may be declined if readiness is not evident.

Next Steps
If you sense the Holy Spirit may be drawing you toward this pathway, we invite you to begin a conversation. There is no pressure to commit—only an invitation to discern together.
Kingdom Doula training exists to protect new life in Christ—not to multiply roles, but to safeguard what God has begun.
